The Powder River 4X is handmade in the U.S.A. of durable, weather-resistant 4X quality buffalo felt, which has a unique, pleasingly coarse texture. Fit for long days on the range, it features a 4” brim and a 4 ⅝” cattleman crown finished with a rugged leather hat band with hair on hide overlay, antique gold-tone conchos and Buffalo pin. A genuine leather sweatband, and full satin liner provide a secure and comfortable fit. Includes an original hat box.

Use a tape measure (or a length of string that you will have to hold up to a tape measure) to determine the length. Place the string or tape around your head about 1/8″ above your ear, across the mid-forehead, completely circling your head. Hold the tape firmly, but not too tightly. Basically you need to measure your head exactly where the hat will sit. If your measurement falls between sizes, choose the next largest size.
